Bilingual facilities safety coordinator

Assist Facilities Manager with the coordination of resources, equipment, tasks, and information. Keep site projects organized and progressing to complete projects on-time and within budget. Drive communication with internal/external team members to ensure timely follow up and execution. Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain daily project schedule for facilities team•Assist with scheduling machine PM maintenance and emergency repairs

•Obtain quotes for purchases and services needed, create POR's, and filter through management for approval

Maintain organized online filing systems for maintenance records, vehicle inspections, forklift certifications, etc.

•Maintain updated contractor listing

•Assist with Stormwater collection and reporting

•Other related tasks as necessary Safety

•Provide support related to safety training and new hire safety orientation

•Lead local site safety committee

•Conduct daily safety walks. Monitor and report issues/concerns to management

•Responsible for keeping supervisors on task to meet safety requirements (observations, toolbox talks, leadership audits)

•Monitor building security and report issues to local police/fire/management

•Implement new corporate safety policies and programs at site level

•Communicate and enforce all OSHA safety standards and Transpak safety policies

•Review accidents and near misses with Supervisors to identify causes and recommend corrective actions to reduce the risk of recurrence

•Conduct inventory of PPE and First Aid Kits, order supplies as needed

•Administer annual safety drill

The essential functions of this role include:manual lifting up to 40lbsstanding for 3 hours at one time
