Bilingual Housekeeping Lead

CDR General Services is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual Housekeeping Lead to oversee our cleaning operations in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This role involves leading a team of cleaning staff, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cleaning team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning areas and equipment to monitor team performance and quality of work.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Serve as a point of contact for staff and management, addressing any concerns or issues related to cleaning operations.
• Provide training and ongoing support to team members to ensure high-quality performance and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, stock levels, and equipment status.
• Assist with the physical cleaning of facilities as needed, demonstrating best practices and techniques.
• Promote a culture of cleanliness and safety among the staff through effective communication and team collaboration.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in cleaning practices or management is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a cleaning role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead position.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Ability to lead a team, providing guidance and support as necessary.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members and management.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and challenges.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods of time.
• Working in varying indoor environments and adhering to safety protocols.
