Bilingual Janitorial Night Lead (Custodian)

Description

We are looking for a Night Lead Custodian to join our team in Zionsville, IN. Work shifts are Monday - Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am.

The ideal candidate will have team lead experience as a Porter, Janitor, Housekeeper, or similar role; any positions where maintaining a clean environment, general housekeeping, and janitorial maintenance is expected.

What You Do Daily:

• Utilize the school calendar and coordinate with school personnel to complete setups for school activities and events.
• Perform a variety of cleaning and general care tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, clean door entryways, emptying trash cans and any other task assigned.
• Clean interior areas like hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeteria and any other area as well as the perimeters of school building, parking lot, school fields, windows, and other area assigned.
• Help maintain equipment and ensure the custodian areas are neat and orderly.
• When needed, refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Be responsible for helping maintaining equipment and ensure the janitor’s space is neat and orderly.
• Effectively communicate with school personnel and adapt to changing policies, procedures, and/or duties as directed by management.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Salary: $14.00-16.00 per hour depending on the building
