Position Overview: 

The Bilingual Office Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication in Mandarin and English, a strong background in office management, with additional experience in IT. Familiarity with the entertainment industry is highly desirable. The Office Assistant will be responsible for office & operations management, administrative tasks and HR support, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Office & Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment and facilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, service providers, and building management.
• Assist in the planning and execution of company events, meetings, and team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Work with the finance team to administer reimbursement payment process for vendors
• Collect and respond to incoming mails in a timely manner

IT Support:

• Provide basic IT support to employees, including simple network troubleshooting and VPN setup.
• Assist with laptop and company property management, including issuance, tracking, and returns.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware/software needs and IT-related services.
• Offer general technical assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience 

• Language Requirement: Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a plus 
• Positive “can-do” attitude with a high level of integrity and discretion 
• Proven experience in office management, and basic IT knowledge.

• Passion to work in a fast paced and growing entertainment industry, previous experience within the entertainment industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Ability to work from our Culver City, CA office 5 days a week.
