Bilingual Paralegal

Small boutique Texas litigation firm with primary PI practice seeks an experienced and bilingual required (Spanish) Paralegal to join their team.

Paralegal provides advanced legal, administrative, and secretarial support to assigned attorneys and other staff. The position is responsible producing accurate and timely legal and administrative work through a smooth-running, well-organized infrastructure. Duties include:

· Scheduling hearings, meetings, depositions, travel

· Preparing briefs and other legal documents and correspondence

· Docketing cases and maintain court dockets and diaries, maintaining calendars and tracking information, resources

· Mail

· Reminders to attorney and reports

· Technical assistance to others

Strong and effective writing and verbal communications skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others

Acts on directions from more than 1 individual, prioritizes according, and independently follows through with minimal supervision and guidance. Excellent detail-orientation, follow-up skills and organizational skills.

The ability to multi-task and work under challenging conditions while meeting required deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to manage workload so that services are delivered timely and appropriately.

· Texas Notary required

5 years of full-time experience in Paralegal work preferred

Preferably Bilingual Spanish, oral/written

Efiling procedures – pacer, and state courts

· Pre-suit, court rules, forms, processes, and procedure

· Making and maintaining legal files, correspondence, and documents

· Familiarity with Dropbox and Google

*Qualifications include: *High School Diploma or higher education

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite especially: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Computer knowledge

High degrees of integrity, ethics, and judgment.
