Job Summary:
The Driver Payroll Coordinator accurately calculates weekly company drivers & helpers pay, (stops, trips & commission) in a timely manner. In addition, this position provides back up for scheduling, delivery, and customer service with the goal of providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Functions:
· Checks in trucks each morning, noting exchanges, redelivers, and back orders and updates weekly spreadsheet.
· Forwards all delivery tickets to Invoicing Coordinator.
· Tallies the total dollar amount of delivered furniture by driver and helper.
· Prepares weekly Driver Calculation spreadsheet to include commission, stops, trips, and hours to be paid for each driver/helper.
· Reviews drivers/helpers and warehouse employees’ daily time in payroll system. Investigates and corrects missed punches, documents tardies, out early, and absences for employee file. Documents full day absences in employee’s record in the timekeeping system.
· Oversees temporary employees’ time keeping and follows up if discrepancies are found.
· Maintains Temporary Staffing spreadsheet and approves temporary employees’ time cards for agency invoices.
· Provides administrative support to Warehouse Manager.
· Assists warehouse employees with payroll and HR related inquiries.
· Provides secondary telephone back-up to Receptionist and assists callers with warranty services, repairs, completed orders, delivery, and other inquiries.
· Assists Will Call customers when receptionist is unavailable.
· Prompt and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of Excel & Word.
· Minimum of 6 months transportation experience preferred.
· Must be analytical and willing to learn.
· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and work in a stressful, time-sensitive environment.
