Pediatric office in Coconut Creek currently seeking front desk assistants that will ensure our patients continue to receive high quality, efficient care. You will join an amazing team that works hard, supports each other, and provides excellent care to patients. If you are a team player with a warm and welcoming attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task, we’d love for you to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking patients in and out of the clinic in a friendly and efficient way
- Answering multi-phone lines, faxing and scanning documentation
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Obtaining and verifying patient insurance
- Collecting and posting co-payments, deductibles, and patient balances.
- Support clinical and office staff with other clerical duties
- Will cross-trained in other areas to meet the needs of the clinic.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma a must!
- Bi-Lingual: English and Portuguese a must!
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
