Vaco has partnered with a client in the construction industry on the Northwest side of Indianapolis to fill a Bilingual VP of Recruiting position.
The ideal candidate will: be bilingual (Spanish/English), possess outstanding communication skills, have a positive attitude, have at least 5 years of supervisory experience, operate with a high level of integrity, give and receive constructive feedback, be reliable, take initiative to create a positive impact, and have a passion for customer service. This position is preferably based in Indianapolis, IN.
Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities: * Manage and evaluate the recruiting team (5+ members) consisting of recruiters in the Indianapolis office as well as others working remotely in other states. * Introduce a process of continuous improvement to the team and train the team to improve performance * Develop and implement candidate sourcing strategies, including but not limited to, the use of social networking sites, text blasts, job fairs, and other marketing-related communication tools * Improve reporting tools and report on the performance of the recruiting team using a variety of metrics * Evaluate quality of data in staffing database and identify opportunities to enhance it * Support and assist with collection of data provided to payroll team for processing time and deductions * Work closely with the sales team to support them in managing client relationships * Visit customers and temporary staff at jobsites * Make recommendations for improving internal processes and operations * Assist with the investigation of workers comp claims and provide information related to claims
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience with supervisory responsibilities within the staffing industry. Construction industry experience very helpful, also.
Requirements: * Bilingual (Spanish/English) * Knowledge of recruiting practices, methods of sourcing solutions, staffing systems, and applicant tracking systems. * Record of recruiting success * Willingness to work weekends as business requires * Advanced MS Office skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to: the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
