Job Description - Bilingual Sales Associate

We move fresh fruits and vegetables, fast, at volume, every single day. As a leading wholesale distributor serving retail and wholesale buyers across the region, we're on the hunt for a driven, bilingual Sales Associate who brings energy, hustle, and a genuine love for building customer relationships.

What You'll Do

Hunt & Close Business

Actively prospect new customers across retail and wholesale channels
Negotiate pricing and deal terms confidently — balancing volume, market conditions, and company goals
Prepare compelling quotes and close deals with urgency and professionalism
Attend industry events and network your way into new opportunities
Track your performance data and use it to sharpen your strategy

Own Your Customer Relationships

Be the go-to contact for your accounts — responsive, knowledgeable, and reliable
Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and expansion opportunities
Handle customer feedback head-on and use it to improve the experience
Answer questions about product characteristics, seasonality, taste profiles, and handling like a true expert

Master the Product

Develop deep knowledge of our full fresh produce lineup — varieties, seasonality, nutrition, and storage
Stay ahead of industry trends, new varieties, and food safety regulations
Use your product expertise to advise customers and differentiate yourself from the competition

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

Process orders accurately and on time using our order management system
Maintain organized records to keep your accounts running without a hitch
Uphold safety and sanitation standards on the floor

What You Bring

Fluency in Spanish and English — written and spoken
3+ years of proven sales experience (food & beverage industry experience is a big plus)
A track record of hitting and exceeding targets
Strong interpersonal skills — you're someone people genuinely like doing business with
Solid organizational habits and the ability to juggle multiple accounts without dropping the ball
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with order management or inventory software is a bonus
A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
