Position Summary
East House is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. We provide comprehensive services, including residential support, counseling, peer support and community outreach to empower individuals to overcome mental health and substance use disorders and lead fulfilling lives. The Bilingual (Spanish) Service Coordinator is responsible for partnering with clients in recovery from mental illness, chemical dependency, and/or co-occurring conditions to identify, access, and maintain linkages with treatment, housing, rehabilitation, and community services. Working within a person-centered approach, the Service Coordinator assists individuals in maintaining stable housing and improving their overall quality of life while teaching independent living skills.
Spanish language proficiency is an essential function of this position. Approximately 25% of the program's caseload consists of individuals whose primary language is Spanish. The ability to communicate directly in Spanish is essential to ensure accurate assessments, effective crisis intervention, meaningful home visits, service planning, funding coordination, and participation in social and community activities.
In compliance with NYS's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above. East House considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market
