Job Description - Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Bilingual Speech Therapist Assistant to join our team! As a Speech Therapist Assistant, duties include but are not limited to, therapy sessions and treatment implementation, daily documentation of therapy sessions, correct CPT coding for sessions, parent education, and coordination of care with other therapy disciplines (as applicable). The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, can provide compassionate care to every patient, and has excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bilingual: Spanish and English (Required)

Active state license for practicing speech therapy (Required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong charting and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Participate in Staff Meetings

Maintain CEUs and licensure

Complete max plans of care each month or each week (e.g., Up to 9 times a month or up to 2x a week)

Reschedule canceled or missed therapy visits, and plan ahead for holidays or future cancellations

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Feeding Therapy

Does your child have difficulty eating? Will your child only eat a few familiar foods? Our therapists work with children to improve their feeding skills and willingness to accept new foods into their diet.

Occupational Therapy

Does your child have sensory differences or difficulties with fine motor tasks? Our therapists have received extensive training to help improve a child's ability to participate in everyday activities.
