MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with adults in the alcohol and drug addictions fields.

Must be familiar with Medi-CAL & ASAM criteria and EHR (Electronic Health Records). Minimum of two years of sobriety. Alcohol/drug counseling certification required. State alcohol/drug counseling certification required.

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for individual and group counseling for Residential treatment. Ability to conduct intake and assessments including treatment plans for individuals. Serving the special needs of program participants and individuals. Facilitate groups for participants in a residential treatment program. Activities are designed to support environmental change for individual recovery in a Social Model setting using evidenced-based curriculum (Matrix)

NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted, screened for tuberculosis, and health screened for fitness for duty.
