Billing Account Representative

Apple Montessori Schools is a growing organization with a network of 20 schools throughout New Jersey.  We are seeking a detail oriented, Billing Account Representative to join our team.  Our Billing Account Representatives are key roles that support our company’s day-to-day operations. In this dynamic role and as a member of our Billing team you will engage daily with new families, current families and our school administration. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

› Respond to all parent and school inquiries via email or phone. 

› Email account statements to parents as requested.

› Process child maintenance forms on a daily basis.

› Update Tuition Express on a daily basis and as needed.

› Print out and process new online applications upon receipt.

› Email billing statements to parents on the 15th of each month.

› Process Automatic Billing through Tuition Express on the 1st of each month.

› Process daycare charges on a weekly basis.

› Email class list report from Procare by the 6th of each month to corresponding schools.

› Contact parents on all aging accounts to collect tuition past due.

› Maintains confidential patient and/or agency information in accordance to HIPAA and agency policies.

› Performs all such related and non-related duties as may be assigned from time to time as assigned by supervisor. 

Reports to: Tuition Director

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

› Minimum of High School diploma required. 

› Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills.

› Must have extensive data entry experience, as well as multi-tasking abilities.

› Experience using Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications.

› Ability to utilize computer-based scheduling and documentation system.

› Some billing experience preferred, but not required.

WORKING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

› Office based, requires full range of body motion including bending, sitting, and standing through the required hour workday.

› Able to work a full time, 40-hour workweek with hours that meet the needs of parents and customers.

›This is a remote position; candidates must reside in the state of New Jersey and may be asked at times to come on site for meetings.
