Position Overview: Billing Associate Superstar

Your Responsibilities and Duties:

Front Desk: Answering front desk calls and checking in in -person clients.

Collecting/ Posting Patient Payments / Refunds

• Monitor incoming payments and clinician encounters for completion
• Make refunds as necessary for payments made in error
• Apply monies with corresponding DOS
• Follow up with clients directly for DOS with no payment to receive payment

Monitoring/Maintaining Client Credits

• Monitor payment log and continually apply payments to encounters
• Communicate with clients regarding inquiries
• Switch balances to patient responsibility when necessary

Denials/Correcting Claims

• Assisting with denials
• Assisting with claim corrections

Communication

• Communicate with clients regarding payments/ credits
• Keep in constant communication with the billing team
• Communicate with clinicians as needed regarding patient balances.
