Billing Clerk Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and supporting the overall financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, meticulous, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and process invoices accurately and promptly

- Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies or issues

- Maintain and update billing records and databases

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct billing information

- Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing

- Respond to billing inquiries from clients and internal teams

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a billing clerk, billing specialist, or similar role

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of billing procedures, financial regulations, and data entry accuracy

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus
