Description

We are a multiple-site, private practice dermatology group in need of a qualified billing coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a detailed, team-oriented billing specialist with full cycle medical billing knowledge. Must be able to solve billing queries and have a solid understanding/foundation in medical billing practices.  Some of the daily tasks include, but are not limited to:  

• Reviewing and posting EOB's 
• Charge Entry 
• Posting patient payments
• Payment and Charge Reconciliation
• Daily close out tasks 
• Preparing Deposits
• Resolving billing inquiries
• Claim denials and appeals
• Handling patient inquiries
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

Requirements

1. Able to perform listed job duties 
2. Reliable transportation
3. Prior demonstrated experience with revenue cycles in a medical practice 
4. Dermatology billing is a plus
5. Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus
