THE ROLE: MEDICAL BILLING REPRESENTATIVE

IN OFFICE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Data entry including identifying all required information and accuracy of this information;

· Scanning and filing of documents for retention;

· Processing statements and returned mail;

· Basic computer knowledge and some data entry experience is a requirement;

· Understand billing terminology and processes required to process an accession from receipt into billing system;

· Must be able to adjust to increased workloads;

· Learns and becomes familiar with Billing policies and procedures;

· Answers phone calls;

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of 1-year of previous billing work experience
• Microsoft experience
• Data Entry experience
• Internet Ability to use and learn proprietary software systems
• Experience navigating third party websites
• Ability to work in a fast pace office environment, meeting daily goal volumes
• Previous Healthcare billing experience a plus!
