THE ROLE: MEDICAL BILLING REPRESENTATIVE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data entry including identifying all required information and accuracy of this information;
• Scanning and filing of documents for retention;
• Processing statements and returned mail;
• Basic computer knowledge and some data entry experience is a requirement;
• Understand billing terminology and processes required to process an accession from receipt into billing system;
• Must be able to adjust to increased workloads;
• Learns and becomes familiar with Billing policies and procedures;
• Answers phone calls;
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of 1-year of previous billing work experience
• Microsoft experience
• Data Entry experience
• Internet Ability to use and learn proprietary software systems
• Experience navigating third party websites
• Ability to work in a fast pace office environment, meeting daily goal volumes
• Previous Healthcare billing experience a plus!
• M-F dayshift
