Billing Specialist

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in retail skilled trade services. As a Billing Specialist you will translate work order forms into invoices, perform data entry and collaborate with internal departments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Calculate costs of goods and services rendered from service technicians
• Cross reference database, spreadsheets and work order forms to create invoices
• Perform a high volume of data-entry
• Submit invoices via mail, email or client portals
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department

Requirements

• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
• Proficient in MS Office and web-based databases
• Possess strong data entry skills typing a minimum of 40 WPM
• At least one year of recent experience in accounting with progressive responsibilities
• High school diploma or equivalent education
