Summary
The Billing Analyst I will assist with generating invoices by collecting data, applying contract prices, applying tax, and gathering approvals.
Compensation, Schedule, and Location
$30 - $31 hourly
Mon - Frid, 8am to 5pm, 3-days in-office
12655 Beatrice St. Los Angeles, CA 90066
Duties and Responsibilities
Use existing billing models
Provide 'Aging' information for invoices
Calculate applicable shipping costs & sales taxes
Obtain all necessary approvals
Track new & shipped jobs
Prepare reports for management, as needed
Complete special billing requests from Client Services
Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Accounting knowledge, billing, invoice - is required
Superior Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables, conditional formulas (if, sumif), v-lookups, etc.
Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI is a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Access and SQL Server Studio and the ability to create and run queries a plus
Good organizational skills and follow-up habits are essential
Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize
Excellent attention to detail
Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work
Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner
