Billing Specialist - Innovative Company

About the Company and the Billing Specialist Opportunity:

• CFS is partnering with a top client, a leader in the retail/manufacturing industry, operating for almost 100 years in the DMV area.
• Due to a medical leave, they are hiring a Billing Specialist to join their accounting team on a contract basis for the next 1-2+ months. Company boasts a casual work environment and great growth opportunities. This role has the potential to be longer term for the right candidate!
• The Billing Specialist will work Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm. This person will work 100% in the office in Laurel, MD.

Job Duties of the Billing Specialist:

• Create bills, send to manufacturer, and track through Excel
• Bill back manufacturers for damaged items to obtain refunds and credits
• Work closely with repair team to validate the status of repair
• Email correspondence with manufacturers

Qualifications of the Billing Specialist:

• 1+ years' basic accounting/administrative experience required
• Must be strong with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, working within prebuilt spreadsheets, able to track receivables)
• Must be comfortable working in a non climate controlled warehouse setting in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
