Billing Specialist Support Specialist

Description

•  Manage DAANES reporting documentation
•  Manage Kepro uploading and feedback
•  Medical Record management
•  Pre-Admission data entry accuracy audit/review
•  Verification of insurance coverage prior to client admission
•  Data entry and management of files
•  Other duties as needed to support Finance goals and objectives.
•  Payer communication for admission/discharge for IMD service locations.

Requirements

•  High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree
•  1-2 years on-the-job experience with data entry in a healthcare setting
•  Experience with insurance processes
•  CPR Certification or attain within 30 days
•  Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems
•  Must pass a State of Minnesota Background Check
•  Must possess a current Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
•  Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and other computer skills

Additional Skills and Experience: (Preferred or helpful)

•  Familiar with Procentive, Electronic Health Record System or EHR system
•  DAANES, MNITS and payer portal knowledge helpful
•  Ability to work remotely and independently and achieve goals highly preferred
