Billing Supervisor

Are you a detail-oriented person who enjoys diving into the details and looking to grow with a thriving western Kansas cooperative? Come join the S&T Finance Team as our Billing Supervisor. Core responsibilities include preparing and sending statements to customers, maintaining and updating data/tables, reconciling account discrepancies, and ensuring current billing practices comply with governmental rules and regulations. On-the-job training will be provided; however, experience with and a basic understanding of GAAP and Regulatory Accounting will be rewarded. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely billing for all S&T products and services
• Collaborate with billing vendors, department managers, and/or front-line employees to ensure services purchased by customers are received as intended
• Maintain and update billing tables to ensure accurate billing of products and services
• Maintain Lifeline NLAD database, Erate Customers, and other regulatory requirements
• Oversees the delinquent accounts, late notices, and other functions in relation to collections
• Manage the membership process and capital credit allocations
• Post customer payments and Ebill distributions

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Associate/Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field and/or equivalent experience. 
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance position, preferably in the Telecommunications industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Other Skills & Abilities: PC proficiency is essential (primarily Windows environment), and strong working knowledge of Google Suites as well as Microsoft Office, emphasizing documents and sheets.
