About the Role:
The Billing and Collections Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliation, and collection of outstanding payments for complex accounts.
This role serves as the main point of contact for internal and external customers regarding billing and collection issues.
The incumbent will also assist in process improvements, payment recording, and reconciliation to maximize revenues.
Responsibilities: -

Research and respond to complex patient inquiries regarding billing issues - Review billing forms for accuracy before submission to payors
Assist in preparing monthly billing and accounts receivable reports - Handle complex billing issues, including verifying patient eligibility with insurance carriers
Ensure accurate and timely entry of insurance, demographic, and eligibility information into the system
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and other relevant regulations and company policies
Education Qualification:

High School Diploma or GED - 3 years of experience in a Billing, membership enrollment, member services, claims operations, or Finance role
