BIM Engineer

Perform engineering duties in planning and designing of civil construction projects.  Create 3D models of metal panel systems using Revit.  Create complete construction plans for multiple panel systems.  Coordinate construction plans with architectural model and details.  Create Bill of Materials using Revit and order materials needed for scope of work.

Summary of Duties:    Perform engineering duties in planning and designing of civil construction projects.  Create 3D models of metal panel systems using Revit.  Create complete construction plans for multiple panel systems.  Coordinate construction plans with architectural model and details.  Create Bill of Materials using Revit and order materials needed for scope of work.

Education requirements:           Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Sciences, Architectural Engineering or related field

Experience requirements:         2 years of construction industry experience

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Must have experience with each of the following:

1.       Develop comprehensive 3D models using BIM software such as Revit and AutoCad.

2.       Utilizing AutoCad.

3.       Manage multiple (3-4) civil construction projects.  Including design/develop construction documents and models concurrently.  Coordinating with multiple vendors to order construction materials for projects.

Travel requirements:    Travel required occasionally, up to 5% domestic travel required.
