The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a seasoned BIM professional to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead the development and coordination of schematic and detailed BIM models, used in construction, ensuring interdisciplinary consistency and resolving coordination issues across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty systems. You will serve as a key liaison between project stakeholders, representing our clients in virtual coordination meetings and ensuring BIM implementation aligns with high-quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Attend and lead 3D coordination meetings (virtual) on behalf of clients, facilitating communication among architects, engineers, and contractors.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure model integration and coordination throughout all project phases.
Develop, maintain, and adhere to BIM and VDC processes, standards, and best practices.
Process and manage 2D and 3D information for use in construction coordination and design coordination.
Produce BIM/VDC products, including spatial coordination models using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related platorms.
Produce annotated and dimensioned technical drawings, including general arrangement, coordination, architectural diagrams, and schematics of architectural, structural and MEP systems.
Establish and maintain project schedules, issue tracking logs, meeting minutes, notes, and performance metrics to mnitor project progress and support accountability.
Maintain and continuously improve BIM QA/QC procedures to ensure error free deliverables.
Perform other duties as assigned to support project and organizational success.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a BIM or Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and construction schedules.
Demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, and at least one of the following: Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam.
Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience in non-residential construction, construction management, estimating, or architectural construction administration.
