Hickory Farms is currently seeking reliable, motivated Bin Loader/Palletizer position for our distribution center in Joliet, IL.  This is an exciting seasonal position starting in July and closing in late December 2025.

Position Overview:

As a Bin Loader/Palletizer, your primary responsibility will be loading, organizing, and wrapping products into bins for assembly or onto pallets for shipping. 

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include but are not limited to the following:

• Unloads products from pallets while opening boxes using company authorized box cutters.
• Responsible for loading, monitoring, and replenishing products in bins.
• Organize gift boxes onto pallets, then wrap the pallet when the work order is completed.
• Assist other employees and Line Lead when requested (e.g., labeling boxes, pulling the correct components per order)
• Comply with and understand safety regulations, product quality assurance (Q.A.), and GMP rules.
• Strive to keep a quick but quality-focused work speed, aligning with Hickory Farms’ fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

Educational and/or Work Experience Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
• Must be able to complete the “essential job functions” with “reasonable accommodations” and meet all the mandatory qualifications under the ADA guidelines. 
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform essential physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
