Job Title: Biomed Device Inventory Specialist (Short-Term Project)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inventory of biomedical devices across multiple hospital or clinic sites.
  
• Identify and record equipment type, model, serial number, manufacturer, and location.
  
• Tag or label devices as required to ensure consistent tracking.
  
• Utilize inventory management software or spreadsheets to log data accurately.
  
• Coordinate with clinical engineering, biomed, and IT departments to minimize disruption.
  
• Report any discrepancies or unregistered devices.
  
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
  
• Meet daily/weekly targets and milestones for device inventory completion.
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hospital/clinical environments, especially with biomed or IT asset inventory.
  
• Familiarity with biomedical equipment such as infusion pumps, monitors, ventilators, etc.
  
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  
• Ability to walk, lift, and move through healthcare facilities throughout the workday.
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  
• Experience with inventory tools, asset tagging, or database entry preferred.
  

Preferred:

• Background in biomed, clinical engineering, or healthcare IT.
  
• Experience with CMMS or asset tracking platforms.
