The Company Healthcare Technology Management team is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Engineering Supervisor to join our team at PIH Health Downey Hospital in Downey, CA. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a hands-on, service-driven professional with biomedical and technical supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.

Local travel to clinics and partner accounts may be required.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise biomedical equipment services and lead a team of skilled technicians.
• Oversee preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and regulatory compliance.

• Serve as the point of contact for vendors, clients, and internal teams.

• Develop and coach biomedical technicians to achieve department goals.
• Ensure optimal equipment uptime, service documentation, and project execution.

• Manage inventory, budgets, and service contracts.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in maintaining, repairing, and calibrating medical devices, including:

• • Ventilators (Hamilton, Vyaire, Getinge, Philips)

  • Telemetry Systems, Patient Monitors, Critical Care, OR, ER, Lab, and GI equipment
• Knowledge of healthcare technology operations and biomedical equipment lifecycle.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and data management systems.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management abilities.
• A strong focus on customer service and the ability to build strong relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities, healthcare technology, or biomedical equipment maintenance

• Prior supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
