Biotech Patent Agent - Dallas

The Dallas office of the law firm US LLP is seeking a patent agent with a Ph.D. in a life sciences discipline to join our collaborative and dynamic Intellectual Property and Technology practice. We take an integrated, multidisciplinary approach that provides a broader perspective on how intellectual property issues affect key legal and business decisions.

 

Technical skills

• PhD in molecular genetics, molecular biology, chemistry, or a related field is required, together with a strong academic record, must have PhD
• Law firm experience or experience working as a Patent Examiner with the USPTO is a must have
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Registration to practice before the USPTO is a must have
