About the Company

Our client operates a facility in Carroll, Iowa dedicated to self-mining Bitcoin. Relocation assistance is available from anywhere in the US.

The Role

The Site Manager leads the daily operations of the mining facility. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will oversee a team of site technicians and keep the facility running at peak efficiency with high standards of safety and compliance, combining technical knowledge of mining infrastructure with the organization to manage people, processes and outside partners.

What You Will Do

• Supervise and mentor a team of site technicians, set clear expectations and run schedules, check-ins, reviews and on-the-job training.
• Oversee monitoring and maintenance of all mining hardware (ASICs) for performance and uptime.
• Direct diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of mining equipment, including power supplies, fans, hash boards, control boards and networking components.
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules, including filter changes, miner cleaning and system inspections.
• Oversee mining platforms such as Foreman and LuxOS for miner configuration, performance monitoring and firmware updates.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations across electrical, cooling and networking systems, and monitor environmental conditions.
• Maintain operational logs, incident reports and performance records.
• Enforce site safety policies, OSHA guidelines, PPE requirements and electrical safety protocols.
• Act as the on-site contact for inspections, audits and regulatory inquiries.

What You Bring

• Bitcoin mining experience
• 3+ years in a technical operations role, including 1-2 years as a supervisor or lead
• Experience managing teams in a mining facility, data center, industrial or similar high-uptime environment
• Familiarity with ASIC miners and mining software (Foreman, LuxOS or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of computer networking, electrical systems and cooling infrastructure (air, liquid or immersion)
• Electrical experience or certification
• Strong organization and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, electrical licensing or HVAC

REVENUE: Net 12.5% of first-year salary. Est. fee per hire $8.1K-$15K; 1 seat(s) = up to $15K if all filled.
