Blast & Coating Technician (Temporary)

Description

This position is intended to be a 6-week assignment. There will be potential for the assignment to extend or become full-time for the right candidate. 

The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Houston area (shop is located in Deer Park, TX). They will have previous blast booth experience and previous painting experience. 

• Prepare surfaces for painting / coating
• Operate paint spraying equipment to apply coatings to surfaces 
• Document conditions during coating process, wet mills, dry mill, etc. 
• Clean and maintain all related equipment 
• Other responsibilities as assigned, such as: housekeeping, shop organization and shop work.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role, 1-2 years minimum 
• Previous experience operating a blast booth
• Previous painting experience, including knowledge of macro poxy & hi-solids polyurethane coatings
• Valid driver's license preferred
