Blend Techinician

Fluoropolymer Resources LLC (FRL) is currently seeking a dedicated results driven Blend Technician, in our North Windham, CT Facility. FRL is the global leader in reprocessing of melt processable fluoropolymers, as well as the distribution of virgin fluoropolymer resin. Position Summary:

The Blend Technician will be responsible for blending the polymers to meet Customer and Internal specifications. This position reports to the Production Manager and will have growth opportunities for a dedicated and results driven individual.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

· Reviews blend sheet on an hourly or as needed basis.

· Pull samples for each lot as defined by the blend sheet.

· Delivers samples to QC lab and tape machine for prequalification. 

· As samples pass qualification loads the entire lot into the blender.

· Meets with Scheduling on a regular basis to determine which lots are to be blended for the day.

· Loads and unloads the dryer as directed.

· Moves material into and out of blend room.

· Fork Truck Certification is mandatory to for picking and moving material.

· Communicates regularly with Materials Planner and is able to change priorities in a timely manner as needed.

· Keep areas in and around pallet racks organized and free of debris at all times.

· Comply with safety rules and regulations on an everyday basis.

· Work in a safe and efficient manner.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· Previous warehouse and forklift experience is desired.

· At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing plant is ideal. 

· H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
