Blender Operator

AES Drilling Fluids is seeking a Blender Operator to join our facility in Kermit, TX. This position is responsible for receipt of raw materials and the manufacturing, blending and storage of chemical products in the Company’s Warehouse while stocking and restocking materials and products in an orderly manner and maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the facility. Current schedule is M-F schedule, hours rotate. 

Estimated annual pay $85,000-$88,000 (hourly starting pay $25.75 plus overtime + quarterly & year-end bonuses).

WORK LOCATION: KERMIT, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that products and materials are safely conveyed to or from storage areas or worksites by appropriate methods (g., hand, forklift, etc.).
• Ensures all materials are safely loaded and unloaded for safe transport and storage.
• Accurately counts and monitors products to ensure proper credit and delivery.
• Blends raw liquid chemicals, per specifications and dispenses in to pails and totes for storage and distribution to other AES facilities.
• Ensures correct container labeling of products blended.
• Contributes to team effort by maintaining ongoing communications with warehouse office, management, and fellow personnel.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, loading/unloading area, and workstations neat, maintaining a clean shipping supply area, and complying with all Company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Safely disposes of all trash in appropriate containers.
• Assists mud plant operations and all other blending and warehouse personnel, when and as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Warehouse and/or Assistant Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain same is needed.
• Experience blending chemicals is beneficial but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and the maintenance of a driving record satisfactory to AES.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate and process driven is required.
