Blockchain Tech Lead - DeFi

As the DeFi Technical Lead, you will drive the end-to-end design and development of multi-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, including Real World Assets (RWA), lending protocols, DEXs, and yield aggregators. You will define technical architecture, ensure smart contract security, and lead cross-chain deployment strategies to build a scalable and secure DeFi ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with product, security, and infrastructure teams, set technical best practices, and play a key role in shaping the future of our DeFi platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define the technical roadmap and architecture for DeFi products, including smart contracts, backend services, and frontend integration.
2. Lead the design and implementation of multi-chain DeFi applications and ensure cross-chain liquidity and asset interoperability.
3. Oversee smart contract security, audits, and monitoring frameworks.
4. Translate financial models into executable on-chain logic in collaboration with product, risk, and compliance teams.
5. Mentor team members and establish technical standards and best practices.
6. Stay current with DeFi innovations and continuously enhance team capability and protocol competitiveness.

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Security, or related disciplines.
2. 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in blockchain/DeFi and 2+ years in team leadership.
3. Expertise in Solidity or Rust, with a strong understanding of EVM and DeFi protocol mechanics.
4. Experience leading or contributing to DeFi projects such as RWA, lending, DEXs, or yield aggregators.
5. Strong contract security awareness and knowledge of common vulnerabilities and defenses.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
7. Possess systematic thinking and the ability to solve complex problems under high-pressure circumstances.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with non-EVM chains (Solana, Sui, TON, etc.).
2. Background in leading exchanges or major DeFi protocols.
3. Fluent in both English and Chinese; experience supporting global business is preferred.
