The Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to support our daily logistics and inventory needs for Blueground in Boston, MA. This is a hands-on operational role responsible for early morning picking, van stocking, stock room restocking, and occasional kit assembly. You will play a key role in ensuring that our field teams have the supplies they need to execute same-day apartment turnovers.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Morning Picking & Van Stocking
Start shift at 7:00 AM
Use provided pick lists and daily reports to gather linens, amenity boxes, bathroom amenities, and cleaning supplies for the day’s service stops (called Pit Stops)
Stock vans according to labeled shelves and layout guide Complete daily digital checklist to confirm van readiness
Warehouse (called Bluehouse) Re-stocking
Retrieve all incoming shipments
Restock all shelves according to item-specific par levels
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the storage area, including sweeping, shelf cleaning, and supply tidiness. Take out office trash, wipe down kitchen surfaces, and vacuum
Handle KanBan system
Linen and towel kit building according to internal standards; identify and separate stained/damaged linen
Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, picking, or similar role preferred
Able to lift 30+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable using basic digital tools like Slack, Google Sheets, metabase, and online reports
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
Punctual and dependable with a proactive work ethic
Other Details:
This is an independent contractor position; you will receive a 1099 tax form
Work is primarily mornings, with occasional tasks later in the day, to include weekends and holidays
