Job Description - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We Are looking for an Experienced BCBA to take on cases in-home and clinic!



Qualifications:



  • Master’s degree in healthcare/social service field.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure in the State of NJ.

  • At least 2-3 years of management and/or supervisory experience.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience working with children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.

  • Proficient skills in completing comprehensive Functional Assessments and Behavior Support Plans (BSP).

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

  • People management skills and the ability to network and manage a team.


    Job Summary: Candidates must be able to work independently as well as with managerial staff, parents/family members and other co-workers courteously. Must be able to prioritize work demands and organize time efficiently. Our behavioral programs are based on the principles of
    applied behavior analysis using best practice standards for achieving behavioral change. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to;



    • Interview family members of youth to develop plan and obtain preliminary information.

    • Analyze available data to determine where, when, and why problem behaviors occur.

    • Directly observe the child served in all home/community-based settings.

    • Define all target behaviors in objective and measurable terms and design an appropriate data

    • collection system to measure target behaviors.

    • Ensure the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP)addresses the function of the problem behavior.

    • Record FBA and BSP for all cases on electronic health record (CYBER) on a quarterly basis.

    • Train employees and/or family members directly (i.e. in person/remotely, with opportunities for

    • questions, discussions, etc.) on the implementation of the FBA.

    • Provide weekly supervision to appropriate staff members in case load (in-person/remotely) • Monitor the individual's behavior data and provide descriptive progress notes on a weekly basis.

    • Provide weekly supervision to appropriate staff members within case load.

    • Review progress towards intended goals, analyze potential barriers to implementation, and make modifications to FBA if necessary
