Job Description - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)




Description

 Join Our Team as a BCBA or BCaBA at The Arc Western Montana!  The Arc Western Montana is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to provide high-quality behavioral services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the people we serve while working in a collaborative, person-centered environment.
In this role, you will conduct or assist with assessments, design individualized behavior support plans, and support the training and oversight of direct support staff in community, home, and center-based settings. Whether you’re a BCBA ready to lead or a BCaBA looking to grow, we are excited to support your clinical skills and professional development.
This role is based in-office in Missoula, Montana. Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate if required.

Competitive Salary & Benefits

 

  • Salary:
  • BCBA: $95,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on experience
  • BCaBA: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience
     
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Up to 3 weeks for full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct or assist with behavioral assessments and functional analyses
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness
  • Educate and train staff and caregivers in behavior support strategies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client success across settings
  • Document services and maintain records in accordance with regulations
  • Maintain billable hour expectations based on state requirements
     

Employment Type
Full-time: 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (for BCaBA) or graduate-level degree (for BCBA) in behavior analysis or a related field
  • Active certification as a BCaBA or BCBA from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Licensed or license-eligible to practice as a BCaBA or BCBA in the State of Montana
  • Completion of 8-hour supervision training from an ACE provider
  • Minimum one year of experience in behavioral program design and implementation
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and crisis management skills
  • Proficiency with behavioral data software and electronic record keeping
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record preferred
  • Must pass a background check and meet all state-mandated requirements

Salary Description

$75,000 – $105,000
