Duties and Responsibilities
The Board Secretary plays a pivotal role in supporting the Board of Directors, its committees, and shareholders. Reporting to the Company Secretary and the Chairperson of the Board, this position is responsible for a variety of corporate governance and administrative tasks, including:
Drafting and distributing minutes of Board, committee, and shareholder meetings;
Managing calendars, agendas, action trackers, and meeting materials for the Board and its committees;
Overseeing documentation, record-keeping, and administrative tasks to ensure compliance with corporate governance standards; and
Ensuring timely regulatory filings and preparing statutory reports and company announcements as required.
Competencies and Experience
The ideal candidate must:
Be capable of prioritising tasks, multi-tasking, and working effectively under pressure;
Exhibit strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables;
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications; and
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese.
Experience related to the Market Abuse Regulations will be considered an asset.
