Boat Broker/Buyer

Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Marine Broker/Buyer to join our growing team. If you know your way around a boat, understand the art of negotiation, and can spot value on the water before the engine’s even cooled, we want to talk.

What You’ll Do:

• Source and acquire pre-owned boats for resale, including trades and consignments


• Negotiate purchases with individual sellers, wholesalers, and auctions


• Conduct marine valuations and inspections to ensure quality and profitability


• Collaborate with sales and service departments to move inventory efficiently


• Stay ahead of market trends, pricing strategies, and seasonal fluctuations

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in marine sales, purchasing, or brokering


• Strong negotiation skills and a good eye for resale value


• Comfortable assessing boat condition and understanding repair cost estimates


• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals


• Willingness to travel for appraisals, pick-ups, or trade events


• Familiarity with titles, liens, and marine documentation
