Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour plus gratuities.

Anticipated employment period: May 2025 - October 2025.

Position Summary

The Boat Captain position is a limited part-time position operating Lady Liberty, a 35-foot wooden StanCraft Cruiser on Lake Coeur d’Alene. Cruises are provided for Club members to and from town as well as a variety of on-lake locations. The position works alongside a server position and is responsible for all on-water and boat related responsibilities. Position operates as needed or on an on-call basis 1-4 times per month.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure proper watercraft function, cleanliness, and organization.

• Adhere to all local and federal laws during operation of watercraft.

• Uphold an excellent standard of customer service on and off of CDA National Property.

• Act as responsible representative of CDA National during Member Cruises.

• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures both personally and with other staff.

• Engage the membership and promote the family friendly lifestyle of CDA National.

• Act as a part of the Lakehouse team prior to and after completion of cruises, prepping, stocking and cleaning boats.

• Work in partnership with Servers during Cruises.

• Safely operate various motorized watercraft with and without passengers

• US Coast Guard Master Captain’s License.

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or work equivalent.

• Required to work on-call duty when needed.

• High level of organization, time management, and verbal communication skills.

• Must operate efficiently and calmly in a fast dynamic environment.
