Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Boat Delivery & Accessory Advisor to join our team in Bradenton, FL. This multi-functional position plays a critical role in enhancing the customer experience by supporting the Sales, Parts, and Service departments.

You will lead the delivery and demonstration of boats, help customers feel confident in operating their new vessel, and offer accessory recommendations based on their needs. By identifying opportunities during the delivery and demonstration process, you'll help guide customers to the Parts Department for add-on purchases and collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth, fully supported ownership experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Boat Delivery & Orientation

• Conduct full delivery walkthroughs and on-water demonstrations for new and used boats.
• Provide hands-on instruction in basic operation, features, safety procedures, and maintenance.
• Address customer questions and ensure they feel comfortable operating their boat.

Accessory Advising & Customer Engagement

• Use demo conversations to learn about customer needs (e.g., fishing, cruising, watersports).
• Recommend relevant accessories such as electronics, maintenance and safety gear, storage, or trailer upgrades.
• Refer customers to the Parts Department for further exploration and purchases.
• Introduce customers to the Service Department for future scheduling needs.

Boat Driving, Transport & Setup

• Tow and deliver boats to customer homes, marinas, and off-site locations.
• Launch and retrieve vessels, secure boats at docks or on trailers.
• Complete pre- and post-delivery inspections and conduct sea trials as needed.

Departmental Collaboration

• Serve as a cross-functional resource for the Sales, Parts, and Service teams.
• Support Service with basic hand-offs or pre-delivery readiness checks.
• Maintain active communication with each department to ensure consistent customer follow-through.
• Assist with dealership events, boat shows, and product demonstrations when required.

Requirements

• Experience operating a wide range of boats (outboards, inboards, pontoons, etc.)
• Comfortable towing and driving with boat trailers (clean driving record required)
• Previous experience in marine delivery, boating instruction, or customer-facing marine roles preferred
• Basic knowledge of marine products and accessories a plus
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Ability to work outdoors and assist with physical labor (loading, trailering, etc.)
