Job Summary:

Boat Detailers will report to the Service Manager and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Detail Department. In this position, you will be part of a team that specializes in the detailing of most makes and models of boats. As a boat detailer at Goodhue Boat Company, you will ensure our customers receive an impeccably detailed boat - inside and out.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Clean boats according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors.


• Operating steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.


• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of boats.


• Keeping a clean and organized work area.


• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Willing to train the right candidate with no previous experience.


• Previous auto detailing experience a plus.


• Attention to detail.


• Ability to ascend and descend a ladder.


• Ability to work in all weather conditions.


• Good communication skills.


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Schedule:

• Flexible Schedule


• Monday-Friday + Weekends (5 days per week)


• Monday-Friday in off-peak season
