Paradise Rental Boats at Port Royale Marina is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team in providing an exceptional experience to boat renters, marina members, and guests.

The position being filled is Boat Rental Dock Attendant. Employees will help provide coverage on the gas dock. The position is Seasonal and lasts through October.

Ideal candidates for the position are at least 16 years old, have a passion for helping people, demonstrate great communication skills, are detail-oriented and enjoy working as a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. They are available to work weekends, especially holiday weekends, and are excited to work 20-40 hours each week.

Boat Rental Dock Attendant:

• Help keep the rental boats clean and presentable.
• Performs weekly safety checks on rental boats and equipment.
• Teach guests how to safely operate the rental boats, safety equipment and any amenities onboard.
• Help keep the rental dock and other work areas clean, safe and presentable.

Gas Dock Coverage:

• Assist boaters as they dock to get fuel, visit the gift shop, or use the pump out machine.
• Assists boaters as they depart from the dock.
• Ensure boats depart in a timely manner to avoid congestion.
• Keeps fuel hoses reeled in and out of the walkway.
• Help keep the gas dock safe, clean and organized.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Must possess or obtain a Boater’s License.
• Must be able to swim.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service skill.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
