Body Shop Apprentice

Job Title: Semi Truck Body Technician Apprentice

Location: Mount Vernon, Washington

Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience and skill level)

Job Type: Full-time

About Us:

We are a busy semi-truck collision and body repair shop located in Mount Vernon, WA. Our team takes pride in high-quality repairs, excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, professional work environment. We’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Technician who’s eager to learn the trade and grow into a skilled semi-truck body technician.

Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced technicians with disassembly, body repair, sanding, prep, and reassembly of semi-trucks and commercial vehicles


• Move trucks safely around the yard and in/out of the shop


• Wash and detail trucks after repairs are completed


• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


• Learn to repair and replace panels, bumpers, fenders, and other body components


• Follow safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn


• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking


• Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team


• Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, but not required)


• Comfortable working around large trucks and heavy equipment


• 
  Must have a basic set of hand tools (specialty tools provided by the shop)


• Previous experience in automotive or truck body work is a plus, but not required
