Body Shop Clerk (Smart Body Shop)

We are seeking a professional, highly motivated, success driven individual to join our growing team at Smart Automotive of Davenport!

Smart Body Shop of Quad Cities is part of the Gurley Leep Automotive group and we’re adding to our team! We are looking to attract, develop, and retain exceptional people who share our vision by partnering with the local community to make a positive impact.

Our Body Shop Clerk will play a major role in the customer’s overall satisfaction with Smart Body Shop! The position handles our customers in an efficient and polite manner to guarantee customer satisfaction while assisting customers during their visit.

Qualifications:

• Answer phones
• Review and process customer repair orders
• Process customer payments quickly and efficiently
• Follow up insurance companies on insurance payments
• Process account receivables payments
• Daily deposit reconciliation
• Respond to routine requests from other team members
• Team oriented
• A working knowledge of the automotive industry in relation to a body shop is desired.
• One year experience in account receivables
• One year experience in customer service
• Ability to be trained on dealership computer systems
• The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
