Mike Calvert Toyota is seeking a highly organized and experienced Collision Center Assistant Manager to support daily operations in our award-winning, high-volume Collision Center. This position plays a key leadership role in team supervision, workflow efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall shop performance.

As a Toyota Certified Collision Center, we set the standard for excellence in every repair.

Compensation: $7,000–$9,000/month (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support

  • Assist the Collision Director in overseeing daily operations and repair timelines
  • Monitor workflow and coordinate scheduling for repairs and vehicle delivery
  • Ensure resource utilization and production flow are efficient and effective

Customer Service & Communication

  • Manage repair status updates and maintain strong communication with customers
  • Address concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Support technician and office staff performance through coaching and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control procedures, and company policies
  • Train new team members and reinforce expectations through consistent leadership

Quality Control

  • Conduct final inspections and approve vehicle delivery
  • Support OEM and insurance compliance for Toyota Certification standards

Inventory & Vendor Coordination

  • Help manage parts ordering and vendor communication
  • Monitor supply levels to maintain cost-effective operations

Administrative Support

  • Assist with estimating, insurance claim documentation, and repair order processing
  • Maintain records, including photos, RO notes, and authorizations
  • Support budget adherence and receivables follow-up

Performance Metrics & Compliance

  • Track KPIs in alignment with department goals (repair cycle times, CSI, productivity)
  • Maintain safety compliance and support regular audits
  • Foster cross-department collaboration with service, sales, and accounting

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a collision center environment (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of repair processes, shop workflow, and parts coordination
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with estimating software and repair shop management tools
  • Valid driver’s license required

Preferred:

  • Toyota/OEM certification or training
  • Experience in a Certified Collision Center environment
  • Insurance claims and estimating system knowledge
