Our life is a little slower paced, but we still do have Walmart, Target, Costco, and most other chain stores in Kalispell 12 minutes from the dealership.

Position Summary
A Body Shop Estimator inspects damaged vehicles, determines the extent of repairs required, and prepares accurate repair cost estimates. The estimator communicates with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to ensure efficient and profitable repair operations while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess structural, body, and mechanical damage.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software (such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex).
• Communicate repair processes, timelines, and costs to customers.
• Work with insurance adjusters to review and approve repair estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure correct repair procedures.
• Order necessary parts and verify pricing and availability.
• Monitor repair progress and update estimates if additional damage is discovered.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repair estimates, photos, and insurance paperwork.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturers and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED (automotive training or certification preferred).
• Experience in auto body repair, collision estimating, or automotive service advising.
• Knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and parts.
• Familiarity with estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret insurance guidelines and repair procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
• I-CAR certification or ASE certification (such as ASE B6 Damage Analysis & Estimating).
• Previous experience in a collision repair facility.
• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures.
