Body Shop Manager

Linus Cadillac Buick GMC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Body Shop Manager to oversee operations in our Collision Center.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in various aspects of automotive body repair. The  role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a team of technicians while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support in body shop repair, restoration, painting and detailing.
Communicates with vendors on products and warranty issues.
Maintain an organized shop environment, including proper use of hand tools and equipment.
Assists in heaving lifting and moving of vehicles as needed.
Collaborate with dealership representatives to ensure alignment with service expectations.
Implement training programs for staff on new techniques and technologies in auto repair.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of auto body repair, painting, detailing, restoration and vehicle maintenance.
Proficiency with hand tools and automotive equipment.
Must be proficient in Collision Adjustments and Insurance Company Adjusters.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
