Body shop Parts Specialist

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive parts or inventory management preferred.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.


• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.


• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.


• Must be at least 18yr. of age with valid driver’s license


• Multitask, able to effectively communicate with others, oral and written


• Able to understand instructions, written estimates & parts orders


• Visual determines accuracy of parts & work assigned to.

• Responsible for ordering parts from preferred vendors, keeping vendors held responsible with delivery dates and quality of parts.


• Assisting technicians & estimators in identifying, sourcing, and purchasing parts for vehicles in a timely manner.


• Check in, label and distribute parts to technicians when needed.


• Verify & inspect correctness of parts & quality.


• Post & scan parts invoices


• Track incomplete order status daily (Backorders, outstanding orders & credits)


• Pickup & deliver parts as necessary


• Keep workstation & parts room clean & organized


• Perform other duties possibly needed to complete repairs in the body shop with office staff and technicians.
